Very rough sounding live tape
Very rough sounding live tape here by chicago death metal pioneers MASTER, recorded in October 1985. Have no idea about what venue this gig was at though. The sound quality here is not good at all, although i tried my best to get the best possible results out of it by hitting the EQ & compression HARD ! I left out the opening track "Terrorizer" as it was a total tape whirl clusterfuck & the sound only got better (i.e. less worse) from track 2 onwards. I think the band broke up shortly after this gig, when they got turned down by Combat records. Only to resurface as MASTER in 1990. in the intervening years Paul Speckmann (Bass & Vocals) also formed FUNERAL BITCH & ABOMINATION. so, bar the deleted opening track, there's 7 songs here clocking at just over 21 minutes. So remember, it's rough & noisy sounding, but 10x times better than the OG tape sound.
