In today's episode I go
In today's episode I go deep into the Gayo Horse Racing, learn about Sumatran Coffee and cooking Mie Aceh cooking in Takengon, Central Aceh. Starting off from Blangkejeren through the Sumatran Mountains, I reach the magnificent Lake Laut Tawar in Takengon.
I stay at Fairuz Hotel from where I explore the city of Takengon and meet a lot of friendly Acehnese people. I head to Mila Sari 2 to see how the cook the famous dish, Mie Aceh (Aceh Noodles).
I then visit KBQ Baburrayan to get insight into the Aceh coffee production, who provides for Starbucks Seattle. I visit the Takengon Horse Arena (Arena Pacuan Kuda) where I talk to an Indonesian Jockey about the famous Takengon Horse Racing Events.
Finally I visit the Cave of Princess Pukes (Goa Putri Pukes) and learn about the Legend that made up Lake Laut Tawar.
