The NordicTrack S22i has a 22-inch touchscreen display. The screen provides access to iFIT’s smart training platform with content from over a hundred trainers. The classes are filmed outdoors worldwide. It’s a unique variation on the typical studio content found on most other exercise bikes.
There are 24 resistance levels. The S22i is very quiet, because it uses magnetic resistance instead of friction. The S22i also has an incline/decline range of -10% to 20%. The incline adjusts the angle of the bike and adds extra resistance or takes it away depending on whether your training is simulating uphill or downhill biking.
The saddle and pedals can be replaced with any standard road bike saddle or pedals. The saddle may be too firm and small for new cyclists. The pedals are hybrid pedals and have both SPD clips and toe cages. The handlebars are bullhorn-shaped and have an additional loop for more inner grip options.
The S22i has a variety of features. There are front-facing speakers and Bluetooth audio to offer two different listening options. The fan is powerful and has multiple speeds, including an automatic setting that allows the fan’s speed to adjust with your training level. Two 3-lb dumbbells are included with your purchase of the S22i and can rest in the dumbbell rack. There are two water bottle holders, too.
The NordicTrack S22i has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. It weighs about 200 lbs. The frame is covered with a 10-year warranty. The parts are covered for 2 years and the labor for one.
