With all the craziness going on in the world we sometimes don't realize how easy we have it. If you want a glass of water just walk over to the sink. What happens when the power goes out? No water. I've never had a house that didn't have one of these hand crank pitcher pumps just in case of emergency. Pitcher pumps are cheap, and easy to install especially if you have a simple well like mine.
