The product codes are mg7770/15 and mg 5720/15 So the 7000 has strong lithium ion battery which gives 5 hours for full trimming. The Philips mg 5000 vs mg 7000 series trimmer comparison gives you a complete overview of both trimmer. It also has LED indicator , with stainless steel grip. But from the price point of view it is expensive as compared to 5000.The price for series 7000 is about $98 as compared to series 5000 which cost around $65.
But yes series 7000 has a lot of tools that gives you precise trimming and home hair cut experience. Both are waterproof, with dual cut technology.
