In today's video, I give you a quick run down on how fragrance is extremely toxic to our hormones and our skin. Fragrance is a heavily contaminated toxin that can be made up of up to 3,000 chemicals. It also contains phthalates, octoxynols, and nonoxynols, all of which are hormone disruptors. When your hormones are imbalanced, it can create and trigger several skin concerns. Fragrance is found in nearly everything including, candles, perfumes, skincare, cosmetics, personal care products like shampoo, household products like laundry detergent, and cleaning products. Our skin is our largest organ, meaning that it absorbs everything we put in, on, or near it. Next time you buy a product, smell a product, or touch a product, make sure it doesn't have fragrance in it. This will largely contribute to better hormone and skin health overall.
