Today, we’ll show you the steps in rebuilding an unloader valve.
When rebuilding the unloading valve, you need to inspect and clean all components.
As part of the rebuild inspect and clean the inside bore and the pinhole for the condensate drain.
Replace the piston seal as well as the seal on the unloading valve plunger.
A new plunger is included as part of the rebuild kit.
As part of the rebuild the blow down valve O-rings should also be replaced.
Inspect the blow down valve for any damage, if damaged it must be replaced.
After the valve is cleaned and resealed it is ready to be put back on the unit.
