The Great British Bake Off at home | Technical challenge! Liam's Viennese Whirls (FAIL)

Hi everyone ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ I hope you're all doing well! Welcome to part 2 of my 'Great British Bake Off' at home series! In this series my housemate and I are competing (although we're both winners in the end because we get BISCUITS!!) in a signature, technical and showstopper round in our very own biscuit week in the bake off tent aka our university flat. We completed our signature round earlier this week and now it's time to go onto our technical round (oh God)! Part of my soul died with this challenge... please enjoy 😂 Please excuse this video going up on a Monday... I have just moved home for Christmas so my schedule is a bit topsy turvy :) For our technical round we decided to make Liam's Viennese Whirls: thegreatbritishbakeoff.co.uk/recipes/all/liam-char… - It doesn't look like this is the recipe we followed as our biscuits don't look ANYTHING like the photo (or anything like biscuits for that matter), but I promise this was the one we used 🤦😂 This round was a bit of a shambles and I didn't want to add to Laura's stress by aiming a camera at her, so unfortunately there's a lot of me this week, I apologise 😅😂 Let us know in the comments section which ones you might not mind trying (or which you think might be less likely to give you food poisoning is probably more accurate haha)! The next and final round of our (not so) fierce competition will be a 3D biscuit showstopper which should be coming out at the end of the week! The theme of the showstopper is the pandemic (because we all haven't been thinking about that enough lol!) so expect some rainbow biscuits for the NHS and a toilet roll themes gingerbread house...
