On the morning of 5/20, me and my dad arrived at the Strasburg Railroad to chase and film Norfolk and Western #611 one final time in Pennsylvania before the locomotive goes home to Roanoke, VA.

To make it better, Norfolk and Western #475 was also running alongside #611 for the weekend, as  Canadian National #89 wasn’t running trains today and Great Western #90 was gonna be used during the colder seasons since as of 5/20/2023, #90 has 68 days left on its boiler flues and is expected to enter its mandated 1,472-day inspection and overhaul by the end of the year.

It was nice riding behind #611 and meeting a lot of railfans and chasing both trains all day. However, some clips on the ride had to be removed for storage purposes. As a bonus, a crew let me and some railfans into the engine house at the end of the day after putting #475 away.

Trains:
1. SRC #110 “The Susquehanna:” #475

2. SRC #112 “The Strasburger:” #611 (I was on board)

3. SRC: #120 “The Leaman Place Limited:” #475

4. SRC #122 “The Thaddeus Stevens:” #611

5. SRC #100 “The Pequea Valley:” #475

6. SRC #130 “The Penn Dutch Express:” #611 (last train pulled by the engine)

7. SRC #200 “The 19th Century Limited:” #475

8. SRC #400 “The Executive:” #475

9. SRC #600 “The American Eagle:” #475
