T'puram: Reacting to the recent controversy surrounding the CPI Ministers boycotting Cabinet meeting over Thomas Chandy issue, CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran took exception to the use of word ‘boycott’ and said it was mere ‘non-participation’. Talking to mediapersons at Thiruvananthapuram airport, Kanam denied any divide within the ruling LDF. He also dismissed reports about a split within CPI over the CPI Ministers’ boycott of Cabinet meeting. Responding to the remarks of CPM leader Anathalavattom Anandan that ‘CPI is nothing if it stands alone’, Kanam said “we will see what happens when everyone decides to go alone in the polls.”
