After three weeks of pro-Palestinian
After three weeks of pro-Palestinian protesters taking over the University of Washington (UW) Quad in Seattle, a resolution was reached to remove the encampment on May 20th.
The protesters and UW administrators came to an agreement to dismantle the camp in exchange for various demands by the protesters. But before that agreement was reached, tensions were high between pro-Palestinian protesters, students, and even pro-Israel counter demonstrators.
The university is now working on cleanup ahead of June commencement.
