Recording voiceovers is often something that some people think needs to be done in a pro audio studio, using other software like Pro Tools or Logic or whatever, but what if I told you that you could record high quality voiceovers directly in Final Cut Pro?

Final Cut Pro has a built-in voiceover recording window and you can use the built-in microphone or an external microphone (which I'd recommend) for best results.

You can monitor your recording level, adjust the input gain, mute the project audio and even create an audition clip from multiple voiceover recording takes when you record.
