In May 2024, the Worldcom PR Group's Youth Meeting returned to Budapest, bringing together around 30 young PR professionals from 12 European PR agencies. Representing countries such as the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Denmark, and Portugal, these talented individuals gathered for three days of learning, networking, and professional growth. 🌍✨
Day 1: Welcome to Budapest!
The event kicked off with a welcome dinner at Kőleves Vendéglő, where attendees enjoyed a three-course meal and authentic Hungarian delicacies. The evening continued with a visit to the iconic ruin bar, Lámpás, offering a taste of Budapest's vibrant nightlife. 🍽️🥂🏙️
Day 2: PR 2024 - Workshops and Lectures
The first day of professional activities featured an AI workshop led by the Promptmaster team. The sessions focused on leveraging AI in PR work, including effective use of ChatGPT for writing and automating press release tracking. The workshop received enthusiastic feedback from the participants. The day also included insightful presentations by András Sztaniszláv, President of the Hungarian PR Association, and Tibor Farkas from the Corvinus University of Budapest. 🤖📊🎓
Day 3: Case Studies and Team Competition
Participants presented case studies from their agencies, showcasing projects linked to AI or personal passion projects. The highlight of the event was the team competition, where groups created and presented communication campaigns on technology and sustainability themes. These were evaluated by a professional jury, with the most creative and well-developed campaigns being awarded prizes. 🎤🏆
Beyond the Program
Youth Meeting 2024 was not just about professional development but also about cultural exchange. Attendees explored the Hungarian PR market, tasted local cuisine, and received iconic souvenirs like the Rubik's Cube.
