There was a time when I was obsessed with W.I.T.C.H. It was very popular when I was 11, which was literally half of my life ago. God, how the time flies! I used to love Cornelia and Will to death, and, consequently, Caleb/Cornelia (other ships are pretty great, too, but I only ever shipped this one and Orube/Cedric hardcore). I’m also forever in denial about them breaking up in the comics.
Anyway, it just occurred to me that Mattias would be a great comic book Caleb, so I decided to make this vid. I couldn’t decide on Cornelia for a long time since I don’t use actresses I don’t like, and the only blonde actresses who aren’t in their mid 20s whom I happen to really like are Dove Cameron and Sabrina Carpenter, but neither one of them could pass for Cornelia. And then it sort of hit me that with the dreamcast part I could create a grown up AU? (Again, ignoring the fact Caleb ends up liking Elyon in the comics, BECAUSE DENIAL x))
And I actually have another dreamcast for Caleb, well, for his cartoon incarnation. If you’ve seen The Elephant Princess, you know that Georgina has an onscreen brother named Caleb there (http://funkyimg.com/i/27hQA.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/27hQB.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/27hQC.jpg http://funkyimg.com/i/27hQD.jpg ). I actually only realized it today while going through her clips from the show (I ended up not using them here, but still). And it was hella hard not to drop this video and start the cartoon dreamcast one.
