Schauspieler Lars Eidinger und Kurator Ulf Küster laden Sie auf einen anregenden Rundgang durch die aktuelle Ausstellung «Mondrian Evolution» ein.
Die Unterhaltung kam im Rahmen der Rollen des Schauspielers im ausstellungsbegleitenden Film «Piet & Mondrian» zustande. Ausgangspunkt des Films ist der 1919/20 von Mondrian verfasste Aufsatz «Natürliche und abstrakte Realität», in dem er grundlegende Überlegungen und Gedanken zur Abstraktion in der Kunst formulierte.
Im Dialog mit Ulf Küster, verrät Eidinger, wie es war, sich in die Gedanken des facettenreichen niederländischen Künstlers hineinzudenken und was den Maler und ihn selbst dabei bewegt hatte.

Follow actor Lars Eidinger and curator Ulf Küster on an inspiring tour through the current exhibition "Mondrian Evolution".
Their conversation comes in the wake of the short film “Piet & Mondrian”, accompanying the exhibition and in which Eidinger stars as both Piet and Mondrian. The film takes as its starting point Mondrian’s 1919/1920 essay “Natural Reality and Abstract Reality”, in which he formulated foundational thoughts and considerations on abstraction in art.
