On November 30th, 2022, an Experimental Arion Lightning LS-1, crashed while on short final for Rwy 11R at Zamperini Field (TOA/KTOA), Torrance, California. The aircraft was in the Tower pattern and there were two people on board the aircraft when it crashed.
