Ingredients:

Potatoes 5 to 6
Water as required
Salt as to taste
oil 1 cup
Onion 5 to 6
tomatoes 5 to 6
ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
Chicken 700 gms
Curd  1/2 cup
fennel seed 1tsp
cumin seed 2tbsp
vinegar 3tsp
kewra water 1/2tsp
Bay leaf 2
Rice basmati 700 gms (soaked & boiled until 3/4th done)
Biryani masala 60gram
-Zarda ka rang (Yellow food color) ½ tsp or as required

Method:

-In wok, Add water ,potatoes and bring it to boil for 25 minutes or until it soft.

-In other wok, add oil ,onion and let it cook until it changes its color to medium brown then add tomatoes ,ginger garlic paste and mix well. Cook them for 10 minutes or till tomatoes become soft. Add chicken and stir it for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add Shan Special Bombay Biryani Masala and cook them for 20 minutes on low flame and cover it. Now add curd ,mix it and add boiled potatoes in it.

-For Rice:
In water add fennel seed, cumin seed, bay leaf, vinegar ,kewra water, salt and bring it to boil then add soaked rice in it and boil it until 3/4th done.

-Take out half of the chicken mixture in a bowl and set aside.
-Add ,boiled rice, remining chicken gravy and remaining boiled rice.
-In kewra water, add yellow food color and mix well.
-Add dissolve food color, cover and steam cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
