Learning how to use a turkey mouth call is hard, but it doesn't have to be! In this video we go over 5 easy tips for learning how to blow a turkey mouth call the right way. There are a number of things you need to consider before you buy your first call, and may times people just buy a call they heard so and so using, but don't realize they are setting themselves up for failure. Getting the RIGHT call is critical.
Everyone starting out should get a single reed mouth call because it eliminates all of the variables that trip up beginners. Unfortunately, the calling industry is more worried about making calls that look cool, and sounds fantastic (when professionals are using them), and they aren't worried about helping you learn how to call, and very few companies make single reed calls (because they aren't sexy). Don't get us wrong, we like multi-reed calls too, but they just aren't right for beginners.
