Sailing the Wild West Coast of Vancouver Island 2021 Part 1

A sailing journey aboard "Natasha", a 1978 Islander Bahama sloop, from June 15th to July 26th 2021 from Sidney BC out the west side of Vancouver Island to as far north as Esperanza Inlet. Part I covers departure from Sidney, BC with sailing buddy Marc, motoring past the Victoria waterfront and out the Straits of Juan de Fuca to Barkley Sound, a fabulous cruising ground on Vancouver Islands west coast. Visiting the village of Bamfield and the town of Ucluelet, quiet anchorages and 10 days of glorious sailing under sunny skies and turquois water, not the usual west coast sailing experience!
