RMS Aquitania is perhaps the grandest ocean liner of the Edwardian era. She was designed to compete with the White Star Line's Olympic and Titanic. Aquitania was intended to serve as the running mate of Cunard's own Lusitania and Mauretania and would have given Cunard the prestigious and profitable three-ship weekly service connecting Britain to New York.

In part 2, Aquitania will serve as an armed merchant cruiser, troop transport ship, and hospital ship in two world wars. She will also come to be recognized as one of the most iconic express liners on The Atlantic during her golden years of the 1920s. She pushed well past her expected life expectancy and was not scrapped until 1950, making her the last surviving four-funneled ocean liner in the world.

This is a remake of the very first Great Big Move video on Aquitania. The original video was released more than two years ago in September 2019. The channel has come a long way since then and I want to thank all of my viewers, subscribers, and Patrons for your support.
