In this timely address, which takes place less than a month before the European Parliament elections, Professor Mouffe draws on her latest book, For a Left Populism, and analyse the “populist moment” that we are currently witnessing in Western Europe. She argues that the only way to resist the growth of right-wing populist parties is the development of a left populism aiming at the recovery and radicalisation of democracy.
