“Perché” e “siccome” hanno lo stesso significato e si usano per introdurre una causa. La differenza tra “perché” e “siccome” sta nella loro posizione all’interno della frase. “Siccome” si usa all’inizio della frase. Per esempio: “Siccome piove, prendo l’ombrello” (e non dimenticate la virgola!). “Perché” si usa al centro della frase. Per esempio: “Prendo l’ombrello perché piove”.
Non è possibile cominciare una frase con “perché” tranne quando si tratta di domande o risposte: “Perché vai a letto così presto?”- “Perché sono stanca”.
Potete usare i nostri video anche per imparare nuove parole. Scrivete le parole che incontrate di volta in volta e il vostro lessico diventerà sempre più ricco!
“Perché” and “siccome” have the same meaning but you need to be careful where you put these two words in the sentence. “Siccome” is used at the beginning of a sentence. For example: “Siccome piove, prendo l’ombrello” = “Since it is raining, I take the umbrella with me” (and don’t forget the comma). “Perché” is used in the middle of the sentence. For example: “Prendo l’ombrello perché piove” = “I am taking the umbrella with me because it is raining”.
In Italian it’s not possible to start a sentence with “perché”, except in a question or answer: “Perché vai a letto così presto?”- “Perché sono stanca” = “Why are you going to bed so early?”- “Because I’m tired”.
