Hiking through Austria. We want to hike 1000 km over the Alps to get to know our homeland better. A decelerating and intense experience, but also associated with a number of hurdles and difficulties. The cold that forced us to take a week off was just the beginning.
But because we like to focus our attention on the positive side of life, we start well rested into the second round. We are sticking to our plan to hike through Austria from the westernmost to the easternmost border in autumn. Nature, on the other hand, gives us signals that unsettle us. We still have no idea what awaits us on the way through #Tyrol, #Salzburg to #Styria. And that's probably a good thing.

We are Angi & Reini from Salzburg/Austria! We rode our bikes from home to Malaysia for 20 months until we had to return due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus. After a break due to a pandemic, we set off on our bikes to the North Cape and circumnavigated Scandinavia!
