We all know Zoe Saldana today for her starring roles in blockbuster movies like Star Trek, Avatar, and more recently as Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Guardians of the Galaxy. But acting is actually not her first love.

Before embarking on her successful career on the screen, Saldana tried to make it as a ballet dancer. She has often said in interviews that ballet and dance is her passion. Saldana is said to have discovered her love of dance in the Dominican Republic.
