•  Spiders want to avoid humans, as much as we want to avoid them.
• They are more likely to bite if their privacy is threatened.

Spider Bite Symptoms
(in mild case)
• Punctured wound

• Swelling
• Numbness or pain

(in severe case)

• Anxiety
• High blood pressure
• Muscle spasm
• Visual or hearing disturbances
• Breathlessness
• Unsteady movements

Treatments of Spider Bites (mild to severe)
• There are many ways of treating a spider bite.
• Every spider leaves its venom when it bites to paralyze the prey.
• But some can be treated at home as well.
• Clean the bitten area with soap and water before tending to them.

Natural Remedies
• OTC cream and ointments should do the trick, if not other remedies are available as well.

• Aloe vera gel – for faster healing and soothing.
• Rose oil – for reducing pain.
• Levander oil – also for controlling pain.
• Bergamot
• Chamomile baby – decrease skin inflammation and irritability.

For Non-Venomous Bites

• NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs); Ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.
• Colchicine (colcrys) - reduces swelling and acts as a painkiller.

Tips for avoiding spider bites:
• Wear clothing that covers your whole body in places where spiders can be present.
• Avoid cluttering and keep the environment open.
• Shake out your blankets, clothes, shoes before using them.
• Have a glance at the boxes to be cautious before sticking your hands in there.
• Spray peppermint oil on beddings, clothes, shoes to keep them away.
