Advanced Speaking & Pronunciation: Video 1-Overview

In this first video, we provide an overview of the different rhythmic aspects of English that we will be exploring throughout the entire series.  We discuss the difference between SEGMENTALS and SUPRASEGMENTALS, and begin to identify the PROSODIC FEATURES of English.  We also identify the basic rhythmic unit of English, the SYLLABLE, and briefly discuss the idea of SYLLABLE STRESS.
