Oh Yeon Seo is a South Korean actress who is best known for her leading role in the No. 1-rated 2014 drama “Jang Bo Ri Is Here,” for which she won the Top Excellence Awards at the 7th Korea Drama Awards and the 2014 MBC Drama Awards. She made her debut under her real name, Oh Haet Nim, with the K-pop girl group LUV at the age of 16 in 2002. After 6 months, she made the move to acting and modeling, appearing in many films and television series. Her roles in the 2012 “My Husband Got a Family” and “Here Comes Mr. Oh” garnered her "Best New Actress" awards and in 2016 "Best Actress" for “Please Come Back, Mister”.

In 2009, at the 4th Asia Model Festival Awards, Oh received the CF Model Award. She has continued as a model for fashion products and an Ambassador for AHC skincare products. She has been on the cover of and featured in numerous magazines. In 2016, she received the Popularity Award (Female) at the Asia Model Awards.

Oh is involved in charities for humane treatment for animals and the Red Cross. As a long-time donor to the Korean Red Cross, she joined many other celebrities that donated funds for the victims and families of the Sewol ferry disaster. She donated a reported 10 million KRW. In 2013, she was appointed a Red Cross Ambassador. In 2013 she was appointed an ambassador for the first annual Animal Film Festival in Suncheon, to help raise awareness for animal rights and welfare.
