Central Park's Famous 5lb Cheesy Chicken Parmo Challenge in Middlesbrough, England!!

A&Z #1109 - Professional eaters Randy Santel and @KyleVfood each versus Café Central Park's famous 5lb Chicken Parmo Challenge hosted by Central Park Restaurant and Bar located in Middlesbrough, England of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 3-week Scotland Tour, @KatinaEatsKilos and I spent 4 weeks (1 month) exploring most of the major cities and areas in the northern half of England. During our travels, I attempted 18 English man vs food restaurant challenges. For British eating challenge event #1, we headed to Central Park Restaurant and Bar in Middlesbrough, England, so we could each attempt their famous 5lb Chicken Parmo Challenge. My own personal opinion is that the Teesside Chicken Parmo is without a doubt England's best tasting food!! There isn't a close 2nd place. I enjoy eating them so much that I attempted 3 consecutive chicken parmo challenges while in the Teesside area. Middlesbrough, England is where the parmo was first created, so I was excited to try Café Central Park's challenge!! My professional competitive eater friend @KyleVfood lives in the Teesside area and met up with us, so we could each try the challenge together. We each had 45 minutes to feast on 2 chicken parmos loaded with béchamel sauce and cheese, served with lots of chips, mushrooms, fried onions rings, and a bowl of healthy salad. Just for fun and because I was feeling great, I attempted to eat 3 chicken parmos within the 45 minute time limit. Fail this challenge and you owe £25. Winners just pay £20 and also earn a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Central Park for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks to everyone from around Middlesbrough who came to watch that Monday evening. We appreciate everyone in the Teesside area and around England who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!! Café Central Park's famous 5lb Chicken Parmo Challenge in Middlesbrough, England (£25):
- Central Park Restaurant and Bar has been serving the Middlesbrough area for over 37 years!!
- This delicious 5lb double chicken parmo challenge has been available for the past 10 years.
- Parmo, or Teesside Parmesan, is a dish originating in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, and a popular item of take-away food in the Teesside area. It consists of a breaded cutlet of chicken or pork topped with a white béchamel sauce and cheese, usually cheddar cheese.
- The Teesside Chicken Parmo is ranked by pro eater Randy Santel as England's best tasting food!!
- The base challenge features 2 giant chicken parmos served with lots of chips plus mushrooms, some fried onion rings, and a bowl of healthy vegetable salad. There is a 45 minute time limit to finish everything.
- Fail to finish the base challenge within 45 minutes, and you owe £25. Winners only have to pay £20 and they also earn a sweet t-shirt plus a spot on Café Central Park's Wall of Fame.
- Note: I tried eating 3 chicken parmos just for fun, and because I love parmos and hadn't had the chance to enjoy one for a few years. Just 2 parmos are required as part of this tasty challenge.
