Hotel Review: At Dickson Hotel 81 in Singapor

This is my personal opinion about this hotel:
- it is right in the middle of little India. So the Location is great.
- about 5-7 minutes walk to a subway station depending how you like the humidity in Singapore
- lots of indian restaurant arround the hotel
- lots of Indians in the neighborhood:) Safe place as it is everywhere in Singapore
- no fittness room
- no pool
- Did not see a restaurant inside the hotel
- Staff was very friendly.
- Rooms and the whole hotel is clean.
- The bed was only ok.
- The room was ok but never longer then 2 nights because...read a little more.
- The bathroom is ok. I experience that before already that the shower ist right next to the toilet. So if you take a shower, clean the whole bathroom at the same time;)
- BUT: There are only a few rooms with windows. Mine had NO window. So the only air came from the air condition.
- AND: When I was there it was really noisy.
This is important as well: You get what you pay for and Singapore is expensive. Therefore the hotel was ok.
My evaluation base:
Location, cleanliness, staff and comfort compared to the price I paid - I recommand it when you stay only for one night. Breathing just air condition air and not seeing if the sun is there or not, is not my favorite.
This is just my opinion. As we like to say "Jede Jeck is anders" which means "every crazy person is different". Therefore please also check well-know evaluation websites to get another point of view, if the hotel is right choice for you.
