Falaj Al Khatmain is a 2450m long traditional Falaj located in Al Dhakiliyah region in the Sultanate of Oman, at close proximity to city of Nizwa. It’s water source is Wadi Al Mu’aidin, and is the main water source for Birkat Mouz area. Some sections of the falaj are developed as tourist facilities while most of the parts feed many farms along its path. Falaj Al Khatmain is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site due to its water distribution system and the continuity all year round. Bait Al Ridaydah, Al Ya’aribah Mosque, Birkat Mouz, Harat Al sibani are some other tourist attractions in the same area of falaj Al Khatmain. During a recent visit to Nizwa, We STOPPED FOR A WHILE to catch some video clips along the route of Falaj Al Khatmain, and mixed with background music to lift the perspective. In this video, beauty of the falaj is focused, but it plays a greater role as the means of water supply to numerous communities and farms long the way.
