Here's An Uncle Tony's Quick Tutorial of how to play “Wot's… Uh The Deal" by Pink Floyd, written by Roger Waters and David Gilmour. This is one of my favorite “deep cut” Floyd songs. It was never performed live by Pink Floyd, but Gilmour revived it for his solo tour in 2006 (see link below). That live version has a very different slide solo, and an amazing performance featuring the late, great Rick Wright on piano. I try to keep these tutorials as brief as they can possibly be. Remember: you should strive to have almost no tension in your wrists and hands when you are playing, keeping the rhythm is more important than playing the "right" notes, and down / up picking is the key to the universe!
