Section 144 was imposed and security was tightened ahead of West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar’s visit to North 24 Parganas, West Bengal on February 14. Sukanta Majumdar and party workers will visit the area as they were released after being detained during a sit-in protest near Basirhat SP Office on February 13.
