Packaging Design Fundamentals (how to design) and what to Consider as a Client (tips). In this video I share information and things to consider when engaging with someone to work on packaging for your product. I cover the basics, explain the differences between UPC and EAN barcodes, what you need to have on your packaging (ingredients, allergens, label regulations, weight, shelf life, etc.), what a dieline is and what a knife is in the printing process. I share some examples of my work and some other interesting tidbits to consider.
