A group of Sufi Turks in Makkah, the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad, for the purpose of either the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage, chant a Turkish qasidah (religious poem, known as an ilahi in Turkish) on their way to visiting Ghar Hira (the Cave of Hira), where Muslims believe the Prophet Muhammad first received revelation. The cave is a part of Jabal al-Nur, which can be see in the first 20 seconds of the video.
The poem being recited is Aşkın ile Aşıklar Yansın, and was written by Yunus Emre, the much-loved Turkish Sufi poet and mystic who lived in the 13th century.
