We went on the AMTRAK TRAIN from CHICAGO, IL to BUFFALO, NY.

For Christmas this year, Cole gave me a train trip from Chicago, IL to Buffalo, NY to see Niagara Falls, USA. We rode over night for approximately 12 hours on the Amtrak Train to arrive in the morning at the Buffalo train station. Then took an Uber to Niagara Falls. Cole reserved a Roomette for our trip, which included; one alcoholic drink, one meal, a sleeping cabin, and access to the lounge with priority boarding at the station. Since this was a package vacation through Amtrak, it also included the hotel and a bus tour at Niagara. This was a first for both of us. A completely new experience to take a train as a mode of transportation. We would do it again, but next time we would make changes to how we book and prepare for the trip.
