Inclinación de la Tierra y Estaciones

The Earth's axis of rotation is tilted, and this fact is strongly related with the seasons of the year.

In its orbit around the sun, the Earth passes through four notable positions: the two equinoxes (spring and autumn) and the two solstices (summer and winter). Each of these positions has its geometric peculiarities that influence how the sun is seen from Earth.

All the animations in this video have been generated using a combination of self made software and custom scripts in Unity3D.
