Chinese warplanes enter Taiwan again; Xi Jinping sends 71 fighters as Taipei fears invasion

In the third largest incursion of the year, China sent 71 warplanes to Taiwan skies. This as the People's Liberation Army- (PLA) conducted 'firepower strike drills'. Reportedly, this is also one of the biggest drills by China held near the self-governed island since the visit by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in August. They called it a response to U.S. and Taiwan's collusion and provocation.
