I caught more catfish fishing
I caught more catfish fishing in this fast flowing creek on this trip than I had for the rest of my life leading up to this trip.
These catfish are the Eel Tailed Catfish, or Tandanus Catfish. Scientifically known as Tandanus Tandanus.
This is the Colombo Creek, which is an anabranch of the Yanko Creek which feeds water from the Murrumbidgee River into Billabong Creek. All 3 creeks are a part of the Billabong Creek system, a system of creeks that flow though the flat plains of the NSW Riverina region.A region that I LOVE.
