In this video, Mike demonstrates how to connect an external camera to an android phone and live stream to YouTube or any streaming service that allows for manual RTMP setup using the USB Camera Pro app.
This does NOT work with iPhones because Apple uses a closed system OS compared to Android's open system.
The list of items needed include an Android phone, camera with and HDMI output plus the following:
