Finally upgraded my GPU to
Finally upgraded my GPU to RTX 3090 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (MSFS 2020)! Today I'm flying Spirit Airlines A320 from Atlanta (KATL) to Los Angeles. In this video we will see how Flight Sim 2020 performs with RTX 3090 and 5.2Ghz 10 cores Intel Core i9 10900k! This video is filmed with Ultra graphics settings and 4K resolution. Also I'm using amazing Atlanta airport mod by ImagineSim which improves visual quality but loads the PC even more!
I have watched a lot of gaming pc framerate test videos on Youtube and I noticed most of them show us people just playing around with the flightsim without using heavy mods or visiting high density areas and do more complicated things like ILS approach and more (which probably reduces FPS even more as I experienced). That's why we can see them getting 40-60 fps easily with RTX 3090.
So I decided to make an actual flight video using A32NX mod and scenery addons to fully load the sim. The results were way different...
Overall I'm still very happy, the flight sim feels totally different than what I had experienced with GTX 1080. Now I can have all settings on Ultra and enjoy relatively smooth picture (I never seen a flight simulator with such graphics running so smooth at the same time).
