For those who have never heard of it, a particle accelerator, as the name implies, is a machine capable of accelerating things smaller than an atom, such as protons and electrons, at super speed.
And it serves many things and in different areas, expanding our knowledge. In medicine, for example, it can help in the treatment of cancer. As for technology, it can be used to build plastic. Because it's so versatile and powerful, it can take up an entire building or even outrun the building itself. To give you an idea, the largest particle accelerator in the world is 27 kilometers long.
