Quilting for beginners. Learn how to make a Patchwork Quilted Pillow. I think learning to quilt is best approached with small projects. Having items you can cut, piece and quilt in a weekend (as opposed to spending weeks or even months on a single item) is an enjoyable way to to stay motivated and work on a wide range of skill sets. A full sized bed quilt, while rewarding, can be arduous and overwhelming. This patchwork pillow will let you work with the simplest quilt block, the 4 patch while creating a beautiful item easy customizable to any home decor. Even an experienced quilter can enjoy this fun project. Perfect to liven up your own home to to make and give as gifts. It can be made for under $15.
