(31 May 2017) A massive blast rocked a highly secure diplomatic area of Kabul on Wednesday, killing 64 people and wounding 320, according to the Afghan Interior Ministry.
The head of Wazir Akbar Khan hospital told Associated Press that they had received two dead and around 90 wounded.
The target of the suspected suicide bombing was not immediately known and no group immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.
Both the Taliban and the Islamic State group have staged large-scale attacks in the Afghan capital in the past.
