18वीं लोकसभा के लिए ओम बिरला को ध्वनि मत के साथ फिर से स्पीकर चुन लिया गया है. लेकिन गौर करने वाली बात ये है कि स्पीकर चुनाव को लेकर विपक्षी गठबंधन I.N.D.I.A पहले दिन ही बिखरा हुआ दिखाई दिया. टीएमसी और कांग्रेस के बयानों में विभाजन नजर आया. ओम बिरला के स्पीकर चुने जाने के बाद विपक्षी दलों के नेताओं की ओर से प्रतिक्रियाएं सामने आई. तो वहीं इमरजेंसी के मुद्दे पर SP और TMC कांग्रेस के खिलाफ दिखाई दी.
Om Birla has been re-elected Speaker for the 18th Lok Sabha with voice vote. But the thing to note is that the opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A appeared scattered on the very first day regarding the Speaker election. Division was visible in the statements of TMC and Congress. After Om Birla was elected Speaker, reactions came from the leaders of opposition parties. Whereas on the issue of Emergency, SP and TMC were seen against Congress.
