Marvel has brought their motorcycle-riding daredevil, Johnny Blaze, to the screen twice with the Nicolas Cage films Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, but it doesn’t seem like they will be bringing us a third film anytime soon.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of fan or studio interest in making the series a trilogy, and for perhaps the first time in recorded history, Nicolas Cage has said no to making another movie. The character has appeared on TV, but a crossover seems unlikely, so let’s take a look at why Marvel won’t give Ghost Rider another movie.
