On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, Sheriff T.K. Waters held a town hall meeting for the citizens of Jacksonville to introduce plans for the new patrol areas along with several other public safety initiatives.
Close to a thousand members of the community attended and had the opportunity to meet their new District Assistant Chiefs and officers patrolling in the newly designated areas, as well as get a firsthand look of their new districts, sectors and subsectors.
