In this video, @howto-intamil941 explained How to reset HDFC Debit Card (ATM Card) PIN (if forgot) through Netbanking in Tamil language. With so many passwords from Keypad locks, Email passwords, system passwords, social media passwords to ATM , it is but natural to forget one among the passwords. So here we show the steps to reset Debit Card PIN if you forgot.
There are two ways we can do this one is "Instant PIN GENERATION" another one is "PIN REGENERATION".
Steps to set New PIN instantly through NetBanking:
Step 1: Login to NetBanking and click on cards Tab
Step 2: Go to Debit Cards menu
Step 3: Select “Instant Pin Generation*’’ under Request Tab
Step 4: Select the Debit Card number and set up a new Debit Card PIN
Step 5: Authenticate with OTP received on your registered Mobile Number
*If you are unable to set PIN instantly through NetBanking/ Mobile Banking, please use “Pin Regeneration’’ option to set your PIN.
Steps to Regenerate PIN through NetBanking:
Step 1: Login to NetBanking and click on cards Tab
Step 2: Go to Debit Cards menu
Step 3: Select “Pin Regeneration’’ under Request Tab & select the Debit Card number and continue
Step 4: Select a 'Reason' and confirm to receive OTP on your registered mobile number
Step 5: You will receive an OTP by SMS on your registered mobile number
Step 6: Insert your Debit/ATM Card in HDFC Bank ATM
Step 7: Select “Create a new ATM PIN using One Time Password’’ at the bottom of language selection screen
Step 8: Input “6-digit OTP’’ received by SMS and press OK
Step 9: Type your registered mobile number and press OK
Step 10: Enter & confirm new 4-digit PIN of your choice
If you are unable to set/ regenerate PIN through NetBanking/ Mobile Banking, please call PhoneBanking & request for a new PIN*.
Alternatively, you can also walk in to nearest HDFC Bank branch to request for a new Debit Card PIN.
