Object, Story, Wonder: Museum Collections Revealed — The Ashmolean Museum
Our third iteration of Object, Story, Wonder features The Ashmolean Museum’s Dr Mallica Kumbera Landrus who is the Keeper of Eastern Art and Curator of Indian, Himalayan and Southeast Asian Art. She discusses the extensive use of clay through objects from the South Asian collection, including small models of villagers conducting their trade and a very early bull from the Indus Valley.

With the aim of preserving the memory of objects during a time when traveling and seeing collections in person has become increasingly more difficult, we have created this series as a way to bring these one of a kind objects directly to viewers globally.
