The bright red berries of the Yew tree are widely considered to be lethally toxic and to be avoided at all costs. This isn't strictly true as the "flesh" of the berries is actually the only non-poisonous part of the entire tree! The seed inside the fruit is highly toxic and potentially fatal consequences can result from ingesting it, but as we see in this video, the flesh of the fruit is not only very nutritious and safe to eat, but it tastes damn good too!
