Frozen paintballs Myth or Fact?

If you have played paintball before chances are you have heard about frozen paintballs. Most people seem to have a story about someone being shot by frozen paintballs or my cousin is a real jerk and like to freeze his paintballs.

But have you ever really seen a frozen paintball before, we certainly haven't. So we wanted to figure it out, can you actually freeze paintballs? If so, at what temperature and can even shoot them once they are frozen.
